Jun. 14, 2004 - Triconex, an operating unit of Invensys Systems, Inc., today announced the appointment of Naresh Desai as senior technology manager of nuclear marketing. Desai will develop strategic business and marketing programs designed to support Triconex's expansion in the nuclear industry. He will manage activities to promote the global use of Triconex's Triple-Modular Redundant (TMR) technology in nuclear facilities.
Desai will work closely with Triconex nuclear customers to drive the technical support needed to create future solutions. He also will work to provide long-range continuity and stability in all Triconex nuclear activities and programs.
"The appointment of Naresh to Triconex's nuclear team will ensure that its product offerings are consistent with both the short- and long-term needs of our nuclear customers," said Mike Phillips, Triconex's director of nuclear marketing. "As an integral component of Triconex management, he brings a unique perspective and will provide a solid foundation of experience as he works with Invensys marketing staff, various product departments and Triconex' global sales force."
Desai has more than 30 years of experience in various aspects of the industry including expertise in software management and more than seven years specializing in the development of business strategy and product planning. For the past 15 years, he has worked with Triconex, previously serving as a director of software and a senior engineering consultant.
