Safety Instrumented Systems

TRICON V9 - The TRICON fault tolerant control system, our most trusted safety controller, was the first to be completely triple redundant, dependable, and cost effective. The TRICON control system identifies and compensates for failed control system elements and allows repair while continuing an assigned task without process interruption. The TRICON is used in critical process applications that require a significant degree of safety and availability. Triconex has installed TRICON systems at customer sites in 50 countries.

TRIDENT - The TRIDENT is the latest edition to the Triconex TMR product family. Based on proven Triconex technology, the Trident controller is designed to fit smaller applications where, until now, price concerns have kept processes tied to the operating restrictions of dual and simplex architectures. Trident breaks through this barrier and provides customers with a powerful, cost-effective solution and an alternative control strategy to maximize both high reliability and high availability applications.

TRISTATION 1131 - Triconex leads the way in Windows-based safety system programming with Tristation 1131. TS1131 allows users to create/edit programs and function blocks efficiently within Language Editor windows using function blocks from the IEC 61131-3 Standard Library, the Trident Library, and the new highly efficient Cause & Effect Matrix Programming Editor (CEMPLE). TS1131 software dramatically reduces engineering time and provides off-line emulation to prove logic at the user's desktop.

TURBOMACHINERY - Triconex provides the TRICON-based TS3000 for critical turbomachinery control, including integrated turbine/compressor control, as well as integrated turbine/generator control. Triconex also provides a family of simplex controllers and peripheral products to control turbine speed, compressor anti-surge, and generator automatic voltage regulation.
